Project Summary
Intervoice is contracting a Project Management Consultant to support our Service Delivery Team with several public (federal/state) and private clients in managing general business, information technology, or construction projects and programs from initiation to closure, ensuring their objectives are met through defined success criteria (e.g., time, budget, quality standards),and stakeholders are satisfied.
Role Description
This is a contract hybrid role for a Project Management Consultant at Intervoice. The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, manage complex scopes, and ensure successful delivery within time, budget, and to the desired quality standards. The Project Management Consultant will work on a variety of projects, both in the office in San Juan and remotely.
Role Responsibilities
- Responsible for the oversight, management, planning, execution, control, and completion of clients' tactical and strategic projects and programs related to technology and/or construction.
- Oversee and lead project planning efforts to determine requirements and specifications, scope, staffing needs, scheduling, risks and issues, and contingency plans.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor in areas such as project management best practices, risk mitigation strategies, and transitions of operations to the client.
- Oversight and coordination of activities, resources, materials, and equipment to accomplish projects and programs’ benefits and goals in the most cost-effective and timely manner.
- Produce financial, regulatory, and project/program performance reporting and forecasts as prescribed by the client, contract, or regulatory framework.
- Responsible for project or program performance and status meetings with sponsors, auditors, inspectors, or stakeholders like suppliers, subcontractors, and/or service providers.
- Lead cross-functional linked teams to address clients' business or systems issues.
- Collaborate with the Engagement Manager, in the development and management of business relationships with existing and new clients.
- For construction projects, oversee the entire field operation, focusing on the inspection of all construction work. This includes, but is not limited to, reporting, evaluation and recommendation of changes, preparation of reports, analysis of schedules, claims and dispute evaluation and recommendation, and supervision of any required relocation activities related to the construction work.
Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, preferred.
- Minimum of 4-8 years of demonstrated project management
- For construction projects, an Engineering degree is required.
- PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Project Management Certificate from an accredited institution.
- For construction projects, Project Management experience in Construction Projects is required.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge and experience in continuous process improvement projects.
Desired Technical Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, MS SharePoint, MSProject, and MS Visio (Advanced user skills preferred).
- Scrum Alliance Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)®
- PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)®
- PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)®
- Lean Six Sigma Certification
- Axelos® ITIL Certification
- PRINCE2 Practitioner

Terms & Conditions
Duration: 12-month contract with potential for renewal based on project needs and performance.
Compensation: Fixed monthly fee, payable upon invoice submission.
Independent contractor status: Must manage own tax and insurance obligations.
