Project Summary
Intervoice is contracting an IT Associate to support our Service Delivery Team on a project basis. The consultant will work with various public(federal/state) and private sector clients on projects related to general business, IT, and construction. The role requires assisting with analyzing IT infrastructures, gathering requirements, and helping implement technology solutions under the guidance of senior consultants.
Role Description
This is a contract hybrid role for an Information Technology (IT) Associate at Intervoice. The role involves providing IT consulting, technical support, and analytical skills to clients. The IT Associate will work on a variety of projects, both in the office in San Juan and remotely.
Role Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to complex technical, hardware, software, and network problems with a variety of hardware and software testing tools and techniques depending on the necessity.
- Provide the day-to-day technical support services necessary for a system's operation, maintenance, modification, and enhancements.
- Provide support in computer operations, moving andinstalling equipment, computer cabling, data entry and verification, mediaduplication, document control, and software installation.
- Conduct and document user acceptance testing (UAT) for new development activities.
- Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware, and peripherals.
- May upgrade or replace hardware and software systems.
- Support and maintain user account information, including access rights and systems groups.
- Provide maintenance, upgrade, and repair of personal computing hardware and software connected to local and wide area networks.
- Provide technical writing assistance supporting documentation development such as User Guides, Concepts of Operations, Procedures, and other project-related documentation.
- Write technical articles, reports, brochures, and/or manuals for documentation.
Role Requirements
- Associate degree in Information Systems or related field and two (2) years of experience. In lieu of an associate degree, four (4) years of experience in document management and technical editing for a federal program/project.
- Experience working in Community Development Block Grant –Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) and Community Development Block Grant Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) Programs will be a plus.
- Proven experience and technical knowledge in managing IT projects.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Share Point essential.

Desired Technical Skills
- Familiarity with Python, Java, JavaScript, SQL, C#, and other relevant technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms and networking preferred.
- Technical knowledge, abilities, and strong writing skills required to format publications to include writing, illustration, interpretations, and depth of coverage.
- In-depth information technology experience with word processing, presentation, spreadsheet, and database software.
- Working knowledge of software programs, Web applications, and hosted applications, including the Windows operating system, Microsoft Office software, eLearning, desktop publishing, HTML and CSS, graphics, and screen capture programs.
Terms & Conditions
Duration: 12-month contract with potential for renewal based on project needs and performance.
Compensation: Fixed monthly fee, payable upon invoice submission.
Independent contractor status: Must manage own tax and insurance obligations.
